…and all that good stuff. Sorry about the lack of updates throughout December, but I had a plethora of family obligations I couldn’t get out of, plus running around like a headless chicken trying to beat the Christmas Shopping rush left me too tired and withdrawn to even consider drawing the next page. I assume that your holiday season was a little better than mine?
Now that it’s 2012 and things have calmed down (and the new year’s hangover has gone away) I’m going to get back into it. My goal for the year is to get further then I had written down. There were a few chapters in written form for this whole story, PLUS I started role-playing it with a very good friend of mine which helped me flesh out the main characters and ideas behind the whole of Seke Statha. I’m hoping that by this time next year (if the Apocalypse hasn’t totaled everything) I can get to a point where this story starts making sense and actually becomes interesting.
I thank the handful of readers I got last year for their encouragement and support, and I’m sorry if I was, even for a moment, a disappointment. I hope to rectify that this year… starting now. Currently in the Sketchfest stream creating a comic for publication tomorrow… and if all goes well one for next week too. A month off has given me some ideas about how to proceed, starting with actually DOING. I can always reedit things later, such as the last panel of the previous comic. Please F5 to see it. I realised afterwards that the story makes no sense if she lives in a house. She must live in an apartment block. XD Any guess on what number she lives at?
